State Bank of Pakistan Issuance of New Bank Note in Ramazan 2016
SBP announced the procedure for issuance of SBP New Currency Notes SBP Fresh Cash for Eid Ul Fitar 2016 through 500 nominated commercial bank branches throughout the pakistan and 16 offices of SBP and BSC. these nominated branches named as E Branches.
The general public can get SBP fresh Notes through SMS service from the 2nd of Ramazan to 28th of the Ramzan.
The charges for the SMS are Rs 2 plus tax
How to Send SMS for Fresh Notes
A person will send an SMS to 8877 comprising 13-digit CNIC number, Space, and the desired e-branch ID. For Example 3830305939875(space)KHI005).

How to Collect New Currency Notes from E branches
In reply, sender will receive an SMS with information like redemption code, e-branch address and redemption code validity date. The redemption code will be valid for two working days.
The Customer required to approach the concerned e-branch with his/her original CNIC, its photocopy and the redemption code received from 8877 to obtain fresh notes.
